Colorado Clinic

Ability Physical Therapy, LLC was founded in 2010 by Katie Ferrington of Ferrington Physical Therapy, LLC, a Colorado company, and Ability Rehabilitation, a Florida Corp.  We believe that with the ever changing demands of the healthcare arena, that we could still provide high quality, state of the art physical therapy and rehabilitation to our community in need.  Ability believes in placing the well being of our patients first.  We accomplish this through carefully selecting a staff of compassionate, dedicated, knowledgeable, and team-oriented therapists.

Katie is from Colorado Springs, Colorado and completed her Bachelor’s in Health and Exercise Science with a Sports Medicine Concentration from Colorado State University in May of 2004.  Due to an excellent job offer for her husband, Nic, at Kennedy Space Center in Florida, Katie and Nic moved to central Florida where Katie then completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in August of 2007.  During her orthopedic internship, Katie had the opportunity to work with the Orlando Predators indoor arena football team, and other professional athletes in wakeboarding, gymnastics, and golf.   After working for Ability Rehabilitation for 3 years, it was time to move back home to Colorado.  Katie and Ability Rehabilitation worked together in the summer/fall of 2010 to establish Ability Physical Therapy in Lafayette where Katie is now enjoying living and playing.  Katie is an avid adventure racer and enjoys running, biking, snowboarding, being in the outdoors, and playing with her yellow lab, Scout.
